Sunsets and skincare

Don't you just love coming home after a day at work and putting on your joggers and taking off your bra and make-up? BEST FEELING EVER!

My skin is sensitive and reactive and as the seasons change so does my skin, so just recently I have been trying to get my make-up off as soon as I walk through the door to give my skin chance to breath.

Tonight my skincare routine included a beautiful sunset so I thought I would try and get a few photos of the products and share! It looks like I'm getting back into the swing of blogging again. Yay!

Omega Cleansing Gel
I've been buying Nude's Perfect Cleanse Omega Cleansing Gel for a while now and it is the only cleanser that doesn't irritate my skin or eyes after I have used it and its brilliant for getting off waterproof mascara. I just wish you got more product for your buck, as the tube only lasts about a month for £32 eek.

Deep Cleansing Mask
I like to use a face mask once or twice a week and this Deep Cleansing Mask from Omorovicza is a new edition to my skincare routine, which I finally got round to buying after using a sample and falling in love. This clay mask detoxifies and brightens, which is brilliant for my congested skin as it changes from winter to spring.

I can't wait to try more products from Omorovicza and Nude.

Invisible hair must haves

When it comes to my hair I'm pretty easy. A Tangle Teaser and some GHD's (mine are about ten years old now and are still going strong) is all I really need. That was until I discovered Invisi-Bobble and Batiste Invisible Dry Shampoo.

Invisi-Bobble
I hardly ever tie my hair up because I usually get bobble-ache after a few hours due to my hair being really thick, but the Invisi-Bobble has changed the game completely. This bobble holds my hair in a high ponytail all day, yet it doesn't feel tight or give me any pain. When I first bought it I was sceptical because I thought it looked like a piece of plastic that was going to stretch easily and not hold my hair in place, but it does! I can even do my hair in a high bun and it keeps it in place and doesn't hurt or come loose. It's amazing. Everyone needs to have one.

Batiste Invisible Dry Shampoo & Conditioner
I wash my hair every other day and on the second day I always use Batiste Dry Shampoo. I usually buy the dark one even though I'm blonde because I hate having those white splodges you get when you spray it too close. So when I spotted this Invisible Dry Shampoo in Boots, I just knew I had to give it a go. This one also aims to condition hair too so it doesn't look too dry, something which i think a lot of people with thinner hair won't like, as I could imagine it would make your hair feel greasier, but for my thick and dry/over processed hair this isn't an issue. I love the Cocoa and Cashmere scent too!

Let me know what your hair must haves are.

The Loeb Boathouse at Central Park NYC

Just before Christmas me and my boyfriend visited NYC for the very first time. Our four day trip was a memorable one to say the least and I can't wait to go back and experience it again.

On our very first day in NYC we visited The Loeb Boathouse in Central Park for breakfast. We had pancakes and waffles and they were incredible. I highly recommend you take a visit there if you are planning a trip to New York City.

The restaurant has a lovely homely feeling about it and it's very airy and bright due to the huge windows that look out on to the beautiful lake. I can't wait to go back in spring and hire a rowboat and soak up some rays and maybe even check out what's on the menu for dinner.
